Cole Nypaver
Runner. Geologist. Dog Dad.
Runner.
I am an amateur runner with a passion for going fast on roads and trails. I can often be found running in and around the Appalachian Mtns. sometimes alone but often with a group of awesome guys and gals from the local running community. Running is something that brings stability and balance in my life and this blog is my way of sharing that experience.
Geologist.
I’m a current Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of Tennessee studying erosional processes on the Moon. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from Mercyhurst University in 2017 and my Master of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in 2019, both in Geology.
My Running Partnerships
Bigger than the Trail is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that openly advocates for mental health through trail running. They provide virtual counseling sessions that are completely free and open to everyone (runner or otherwise).
You can donate to their cause here!
