Cole Nypaver

Runner. Geologist. Dog Dad.
Runner.

I am an amateur runner with a passion for going fast on roads and trails. I can often be found running in and around the Appalachian Mtns. sometimes alone but often with a group of awesome guys and gals from the local running community. Running is something that brings stability and balance in my life and this blog is my way of sharing that experience.

Geologist.

I’m a current Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of Tennessee studying erosional processes on the Moon. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from Mercyhurst University in 2017 and my Master of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in 2019, both in Geology.

Dog Dad.

Owner and caregiver of two pups that are pretty dang adorable. I have a phone full of portrait mode pictures of them, so if you’re ever having a bad day, just shoot me an email and ask for some dog pictures.
